The Bumblebee jacket is worked sideways in shadow-knitting in one piece - flat on a circular needle. The Front is “cut” at the Center Front by a bind off. Then you knit-cast on again and continue working as for the Back.

The jacket is worked in squares, one for each shoulder, one square for the Back and two triangles (actually a square “cut” diagonally into two pieces) for the Front. Having completed the squares you work an edge. Next comes the lower part of the sleeves, the side parts, collar, sleeve edges and finally you make up your CITY Jacket. All pieces are knitted together as you go, only the sleeve-seams are sewn together.

This sweater is quite extraordinary – and therefore, quite a challenge for you to knit!
You work one narrow Panel at a time and the Cross Panels bind the Panels together as you go. Voilá! You end up with a beautiful sweater in one piece with only the sleeve seams left for you to sew together.

This jacket is worked in garter stitch. Work the Back Panel vertically. Join one Hip Part and then the other. On top of each Hip Part join the Sleeve Parts, which are the upper side part of the Back and Front and the Sleeves. The different parts are joined as you go. Even the sleeve has no seam, but for the rem sts on top of the sleeve, which are grafted together with kitchener sts. Finally you work a large collar onto the jacket.

The jacket is worked with rectangular stripes joined as you go. You work it vertically starting at the Back centerline and then work your way first to one side and then to the other. The front is worked the same way but in 2 pieces. Finish by sewing the pieces together and finally work the edges and work the sleeves from top to down.
